We were sooo looking forward to this opera, especially with it being in Venice, and we were certainly not disappointed! Amazing! We went to La Traviata, and what an experience. You felt you were part of the story with the interaction of the actors/singers to the audience and the way the seating was within the setting, Great talent from actors/singers... More

firstly a description of what this actually is, we saw the La Traviata performance on 15th April 2017. This is not the whole opera but rather the web known arias joined together so it is a bit shorter and this is probably attractive for those who are not real opera buffs as it comes out a fair bit shorter than... We were recommended the Musica a Palazzo by our nice and her new husband. We have been to the opera a few times and loved it, but this is a different level. We saw 'La Traviata' 4 musicians and 4 performers(1 didn't sing). You can look into the performers eyes and they return your gaze, you can see as well... More

We attended La Traviata on Monday evening. It blew us away. We felt as though we were not just in the audience but in the story itself. It was inexpensive and a pure joy...

Music a Palazzo is a wonderful experience that will give you happy memories. La Traviatta was staged the evening we visited. The singing, acting and music was excellent. There were three acts which took place in three different rooms which was interesting and fun. The audience is limited to about 75 which means there is lots of room for everyone... More

Skip the gondolier ride and invest in this unforgettable, magical experience instead. The intimate evening ticked all of the boxes. History, art, architecture, drama, music, romance, mystery, champagne, culture and luxury. You won't regret it.

Our daughter booked this experience for us in Venice as a treat for a birthday. The Barber of Seville was performed with gusto (in Italian and we are English, a first experience but that did not matter) humour and real talent. We really really enjoyed everything - the singers, their amazing and powerful voices, the costumes, the venue and their... More

we attended La Traviata on Saturday evening, it blew us away! such a unique way to experience Opera as part of it. We got there quite late and the only seats left where right next to the performance area, so the rest of the audience are looking at you. this obviously put everybody else off from sitting in the front... Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
