Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful area to walk around. A large section of the river is accessible via the tow path. Boats are available for hire. Many places to sit and enjoy the view – perfect when you have to wait until the various tourist attractions are open after the noon siesta.

and with I had rented a bike. I walked to Casier and took the bus back. You walk through a marsh area and a boat cemetery. There is a castle and other sites not much farther down. I could have covered a lot more area with a bike. The tourist office had a nice pamphlet on the trail.

I happen to live here since September 2014 and I walk along the river Sile and also Cagnan every day. Here I learned that swans fly, and coexist with ducks very well. The city is surrounded by walls and also the river. Very green, nice to walk even in winter. The water is very well managed we don 't get floods.Up to now! And the small water falls are awesome.

We did a wonderful bike tour along the river Sile with a group of 10 people. It was a part of the E4 European bike route from München to Venezia.
The Sile in Treviso is wonderful and I can recommend it to all bikers.
We rented bikes in Treviso at Pinarello bike shop.

Leaving the city behind it only takes a few minutes to escape into the beautiful countryside. The paved walkway follows the river and gives one the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas. There are parks, canoe and rowing clubs, the occasional lock and power station and if one walks far enough lots of vineyards. The walk is traffic free.

This walking and cycling route next to the river is THE waterfront of Treviso - it's the place to be.
Locals turn out in numbers to walk, socialize, jog, cycle, exercise their dogs and push prams.
Great views of local architecture, water birds including many swans and tree lined trails.
It was impressive in winter, must be even better in summer

Very nice walk from the centre of Treviso. Just continue walking alongside the river, it's very peaceful and safe. We really enjoyed this walk and would recommend it to others.

Strolling along the River I was impressed with the compactness of the water flowing form a compact body, dense in the fluidity that produces a dull sound. This has led me to imagine that feeling could generate those Italians of every where on this strip of land fought in the Italian Risorgimento and in World War I. Cold and dull roar of water that I had met always very lively and joyful. Creates sorrow. But at the same time observe the architectural expertise that took the constructors of the palaces in Taming the River, vital Earth goddess vase, arouses admiration and confirms that the Veneti are people of talent and tenacity to tame the forces of nature.

A place to relax, to walk for 10 -30 mn or 2 hours, depending the chosen circuit along the river Sile or its branch or around the lake. It can be done walking / jogging or cycling. It is safe and away from traffic. There are few banks to sit with a book. Avoid possibly on Sunday because all the city is going there in groups and it gets crowded.
It is over 35 years that the path should be done all along the river Sile (and away from the traffic) and reach into the Venice lagoon. It is popular in Summer with North European cyclists ---who have maps with the non-yet finished path to the lagoon.
