Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Matteo Sernagiotto who lived in the 19th century described her facial expression as "vague". I found the expression of the 1989 replica a bit indifferent. Squeezing your 'tette' in public is not really something most people would do, but she (or her maker) does not really seem to bother. Three days a year, she squirted wine. Traditional folklore with some benefit for the poor.

This was built in 1559. The English translation is "The Fountain of Tits," I think . Under the rules of the Venetian Republic, red and white wine gets poured here during special occasions. Too bad we were not here to see one. Maybe next time

It's a marble fountain. There's water coming out of its tits. What can I say? It's very entertaining.

Whilst drifting from church to church and taking in the shops around Treviso you may come upon a series of collonaded shopping precincts in the centre of one of which the Fontana delle Tette is to be found. One of a series of lactating statues across Italy the Fontana has been an integral part of Treviso life for many years

I told some family and friends that I had to return to Treviso as I missed seeing the Fontana delle Tette the first time. Most got the joke. The fountain is tucked away down a short lane just metres from the main square, Piazza del Signori, in it's own little peaceful piazza. So after walking around for several minutes, I finally found it and the fountain is a lot of fun and I think quite popular with locals and Italians too. It is probably not the original fountain but the history and relaxing by the fountain is fun nonetheless. There is no more wine flowing but the water is potable and perfect during my 30C visit.

It's fun finding and this personally gave me more pleasure than the actual statue which might be good in a museum but is well out of place in what is a shopping centre. Avoid. Not recommended. There are far better things to do and see in Treviso.

In more ways than one. The original is in Piazza dei Signore, but a working replica is hidden not too far away. Can you find it?

This fountain is a little bit hard to find and it is located in a small gallery based on the city centre.
It stands in front to another old building with, unfortunately, its external paintings almost invisible nowadays. The fountain itself is not the original one which was lost and found and finally exposed in a damaged condition into the " Palazzo dei Trecento". The original fountain was famous to provide white and red wine for 3 days when a new Podestá was elected or appointed.
It worths a look.

Sucking water from marbled tits. A unique experience. Haha... When the locals pump cheap red wine through it even more of an experience!!
