Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This town square is signficant in size.
I loved how trams travelled under one colonnade.
It's extremely picturesque even though it's only named after a battle that took place 105 years ago in 2018.
The River Po is close by.
Soak up the atmosphere here.
I hadn't been to Turin previously but found it a terrific city to visit, not just full of history but far less crowded than my repeat visits to Rome and Venice. It was the highlight (in cities) of our 10 days or so in Italy while on excellent Global Eurailpasses.

This huge square is down near the river and has a lot going on. There is a lot of traffic including trams but a lot of it is pedestrianised so plenty of area to wander around. The buildings are amazing and a lot of cafes and restaurants have tables and chairs outside so you can people watch with a nice refreshing cocktail ;-)

This is Torino, the old capital of Italy (during the Monarch). Exactly this picture is taken in Piazza Vittorio, from the bridge you could appreciate the Gran Madre Church.

Yesterday night I was in Torino, west side In Northern Italy, exactly in Piemonte region. This was a royal city in the past, the downtown is magic.

Nice restaurants around the place (we went to Tabisca that was great too).
Its great at night after dinner to take a walk and watch the world go by. Not too crowded and you can also go walk by the river Po from here.

My suggestion if you are in Porta Nuova willing to visit the historical center; Walk from Porta Nuova to Via Roma and go straightly till Piazza Castello; Then turn right and continue your walk to Via Po and go to then end till it opens to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and see how magnificent one place can be!

A very big square, with nice buildings on 3 sides and the Po river on the fourth one. The impressive church Gran Madre di Dio can be seen on the other side of the river as well as other nice buildings.

Large square with to few cafes that are over priced and not worth it - go into town and get a better local scene.

instead of porta nuova, you can go to porta susa. then you take bus no. 56 or tram no. 13 and go straight to piazza Vittorio.
