An easy tram/funicular ride from Turin and well worth it for the great views over the city and surrounding countryside. The ticket office to visit the royal family tombs is very inefficient (we ended up skipping them as a result) but still worth going.

We drove to the Basilica first, before going into Turin. Beautiful, sunny day, with clear skies. Great views of the city and mountains. But, upon entering the Church, you can only stand in the back, near the doorway! I have never experienced that before! No chance to have a quiet time for prayer, or light A candle.

Place to visit in Torino. We took a small train to get up and down. Quite expensive 9€/person. But if the weather is nice, it is sure that you must visit this place and see the city with the mountains around and all of its beauties.

It is located out of the town but the it is a good road. The building is impressive but the view is the best. Take some time to enjoy seeing Turim from above.

Didn't go in but enjoyed the surrounding and environment. Together with the tram ride it's a worthy experience.

We went up via the tramway but alas the Basilica is closed for a few hours. Opening at 3 pm did not suit us as the tram was departing at 3:30 and missing that one was not on! From the outside the Basilica is highly photogenic as are the views back to Turin. As it turned out we may have... More

Magnificent impressive church located on the top of the hill with great views to Turin and surroundings. To take a mono rail tram to go there is the chance to enjoy the great views while going up to the hill

A place worth every cent to visit. You can choose how to go to Superga hill: to take a walk, by a historic tram or by car. We choosed a tram for 9 euro return ticket and it drives you up for about 18mins. At the hill expect from amazing views you can go upstairs (131 steps) the Dome and... More
