    Superb Museum. Loads To See
I did a recent trip to Italy, specifically Turin and Milan to visit some motor museums and this was the first one I visited. It was fantastic with lots of exhibits detailing the start of self propelled vehicles up until the present day. I bought my ticket online in advance but you can buy one on the day. My hotel even had a discount card in the room so I used that and visited again a few days later. There is a cafe and small shop inside the museum. You can use the cafe without needing to go in to the museum itself. This is an excellent museum that I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in Turin. It's only a 10 minute walk from the Lingotto Metro Station.

    Excellent!
It has been 3 years since we visited. A wonderful display of all the auto companies located in Turin over the years- a surprising number! A must see for those who appreciate Italian cars, and fun for everyone else.

A Pleasant Rainy Day Activity for my Dog and I
The collection of cars, and the exhibition space itself is amazing, even for someone as minimally interested in automobiles as I am. Interactive exhibits, audio visual with English subtitles- everything was well thought out. A big reason I visited on a rainy Turin day was because I am travelling with my dog, and this is a rare museum that is dog friendly, so it presented a pleasant diversion located indoors. Why not 5 of 5? The main reason is that the QR code guided tour and supporting information system was inoperable. A bit like the Italian toll roads, when there is heavy construction and one doesn’t get full advantage of the service for the cost required, you feel a bit cheated. But it was still a worthwhile excursion.

    Best part of Turin Visit
We all had great time. They managed to collect such great cars. The beauty of the visit is that you can come so close to almost all the cards, you can touch. You can make great photos. Buy tickets online - just extra 2 euro and you avoid the que. Best part of Turin visit.

    Thoroughly enjoyable automobile museum.
So much to see. From the birth of automobiles in the late 19th century to design to racing. Currently there is a temporary exhibit dedicated to F1 superstar Ayrton Senna. Highly recommended for anyone interested in cars.

    Not just for car fans
Before coming, I thought it would be a paradise for car fanatics, but it’s much more than that. It’s History through cars. It shows more than 200 cars, including the first and oldest machines of the 19 C . And not only cars, also different pieces of the equipment. Some of the old cars are curated with back screens and props to create a scene. There's also a section dedicated to Mille Miglia, the Italian iconic rally, Formula 1 and to honor Ayrton Senna da Silva. There's also an area por kids. I´m so glad I watched the movie "Ferrari" a week before coming (in the plane) to put the Mille Miglia in perspective.

you should never Go to this museum on sundays. The entrance is free and they do not limit the number of people inside of the museum. Unfortunely for me and my family was a wast of time since you could not appreciate the great car colection and car history within the museum.

I wondered if I’d like this museum as I’m not really a petrol head, but it’s a fantastic journey through the history of the motor car with great exhibits, films and narratives from al over the world. From Henry Ford, the Austin Seven, Hitlers Beetle and East Germany’s mass production to sensational vintage and modern Ferrari’s and Lamborghinis (and the E-type Jag]. Loved the lighting which gave the cars paintwork a whole different dimension.

The museum is beautiful and worth a visit. Access was poorly organised: the ticket was booked online and the large number of people could not pass inside the exhibition area and obviously there was a lot of confusion. The audio guide works for a short stretch of the route then stops playing (it wasn't just a problem for me but for practically many or perhaps everyone). In the entrance ticket I also booked the simulator but when it was time to use it, one simulator was broken and for the other the queue became interminable with a wait of over an hour and a half...obviously the ticket is not refundable despite the x causes are not attributable to the user but to themselves.

This was our favourite museum in Turin. So many exhibits to see and so well curated. Allow more time than you think. There was a fascinating exhibition about fake cars confiscated by customs. It's a short bus/metro ride from the centre to Lingotto but transport is very cheap. There is no cafe on site but there are vending machines, a shaded area outside with tables and a souvenir shop. Loved it.

Very good museum, lots of really important cars from history plus modern cars. The audio guide is worth getting to help understand the flow of the museum. If you are a Formula one fan this will be a delight - so many Ferrari F1 cars from 1950 to the ‘1000’ car of 2020. I would go at a non-peak time if possible as it was quite crowded. Definitely worth a visit.

My younger daughter, aged 5, loves cars, and so we came here with high hopes. But very quickly it was apparent that there's nothing to do except to look at antique cars and to read the tiny plaques the accompanied them with scant details. The one interactive exhibit we saw, which was a small ride that looped through a mock car manufacturing plant, was closed. After just 30 minutes my daughter was ready to go home. She liked the Formula 1 car near the end of the exhibit, and there was a nice Ferrari and Lamborghini near the exit, but it was too little, too late.

A wonderful, engaging, exciting experience.
Two journey plans through the history of the automobile with historic models just a few steps away and then, films, photos, information panels, multimedia screens, engine blocks, tyres...
Expertly exploited, well-kept and illuminated environment.
In this period the itinerary ends with the exhibition on Ayrton Senna... there couldn't have been a better conclusion...
Everyone, and not just motoring enthusiasts, should visit it.

As far as I know this is the best presented selection of amazing automobiles. The information with each car is to the point, they are presented with good space around each and you can walk around most cars. Some rooms are decorated according to each era to create a matching atmosphere.
Technical explanations of key technologies is something that could be added and improved, but for people that mainly care about design this is the perfect museum.

What an incredible collection! This was at the top of our list of things to do/see in Turin, and we were not disappointed. The collection is huge, very well contextualized historically, and with some incredible examples of the development of automobiles from the 19th century to the present. The museum also has a collection of motorcycles some might find interesting. One can easily spend 2-3 hours wandering through the collection. It's some distance from the historic center of Milan so plan accordingly; we took a taxi, but public transportation is an option as well. Well worth a visit.

My rating is negative not for what I saw but for what I didn't see. Let me explain, I arrive at the museum at 10.15 am (it opens at 10.00 am) I drive around for half an hour to find a parking space and I can't even find it for a fee. I phone the museum reporting that I can't find parking. The person who replied that it is normal on holidays. Moral of the story after an hour I abandoned the idea of seeing the museum. Too bad I cared. In my opinion, not having a dedicated car park for the museum is a serious shortcoming.
