    Lovely city
Turin was surprisingly lovely with wide streets connecting a number of spacious squares. A good range of shops, restaurants and bars with plenty of interest to see and do. The Royal Palace was exquisite baroque. Take your time to wander.

    Beautiful city with chocolates
Beautiful city center with wonderful plazas. A city that you can enjoy strolling in. A multitude of interesting shops and cafes. Reminiscent of the south of France as much as Italy without the hordes of tourists. If you like chocolate this is your city. We loved it

Historic Torino is a hidden gem
Torino was an amazing city, very walkable and beautiful. Not many tourists are in Torino, and everyone was surprised and welcoming that an American woman was wandering around Torino in November! I could get by without knowing Italian, but I did come across a few people that referred me to another English speaking person. Google translate was also helpful! The architecture in this historic city center was lovely, as the town squares piazza’s) and narrow streets! Such a wonderful visit to a beautiful part of historic Italy!

If you have free time and you would like to spend your time in nice atmosphere go to Turin. Turin is still underrated in the ranks of top tourist destinations in Europe, but it should be in the top ten. The old town in there is very clean and elegant you can see there the good work of city owners and architects. There is a specific charm of the Savoy dynasty with castles in and out of the city. You can find there the splendid Egiptian Museum the top one in Europe and Porta Palatina as an sign of Roman time and a lot of baroque architecture. Turin was the capital of Italy and you can find the proofs in the beaufiful squares and streets. Five days had not been enugh to see everything and we would like to return there.

This is actually the heart of the marvelous city of Turin where all its points of interest are located - Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama, Duomo di Torino, the Chapel of the Holy Shroud and many more. Take your time to explore the area - admire the beautiful buildings, take a look in some of the plenty shops, peek in some of the churches or just relax with a drink or a lovely meal in some of the many cafeterias and restaurants.

A self-guided tour of the historical center is well worthwhile.
Do get information about modern Italian history beforehand, though.

Turin will surprise most visitors. Hardly any foreign tourists, in spite of the rich history and spectacular architecture and an extraordinary number of museums.

Torino Centro Storico is literally the Old Town of Torino, a city in the North of Italy. Herr you can do a lot of things like see the very beautiful buildings, go shopping, buy a lot of souvenirs, eat or drink something in the restaurants or bars, relax in the very nice squares, enjoy with street performances, visit some museums or only walk around. In fact, almost all important hings to visit in the city are here, so I am sure if you visit the city, you come here! Very interesting.
