What a wonderful unspoiled area! Beautiful mountains, small lakes, wild animals... Off the beaten track. You will find excellent mountain lodges within four hours walk. There is a wolf restricted area where you can actually see them. A small museum in Entracque a charming village. Good food in the restaurants in the area and friendly approach . More and more... I spent more than 10 years going up and down the mountains of parco dell'argentera in summer and winter. higly suggested: rifugio morelli and questa, the argentera ascent, the beautiful alpine skiing opportunities in winter and the spectacualr "wolf museum". super nice and worth the trip!!

Pian Valasco and its mountain hut set in a restored antique hunting hut which belonged to the king dating back to the 19th century.
