Of course we had to stop in the park to see these buildings while visiting the Piazza Gae Aulenti area. It is easily reachable by Milan Metro, just take the Garibaldi train station and walk across the street.

Since we cannot access the buildings, we could only admire them and take photographs. Worth the time investment indeed.

Bosco Verticale, literally translated as Vertical Forest, is a complex of 2 residential skyscrapers with its distinctive feature of more than 2,000 species of trees and tall shrubs dressing its entire facade. In a world where climate change is becoming a pressing issue, such building will certainly please the climate advocates. This beautiful award-winning building is off-limit to the general public, so we can only admire its structure and take some photos. It is clearly visible from the Biblioteca degli Alberi park in the urban rejuvenated district of Porta Nuova, which is an ideal spot for your photo opportunity.

It’s only viewable from the exterior so there’s nothing much to it. If all that you want to do is look at it I’ll give it a 5 because I expected more I’m giving it a 3.

After a day trip to Lake Como we took a little walk past here and it didn't disappoint, sure it's only a photo opportunity but it's just something that little bit different, especially in an area full of characterless glass and metal skyscrapers.

Not worth a big detour to see but it's just that something you don't see every day.

This structure is amazing to see and should set the standard for construction of high-rise buildings moving forward to control the climate issues. It looks like a tree house.

I don't know if I'd go out of my way to see just this building, but I really enjoyed the nearby park which has so many beautiful buildings surrounding it.

The revolutionary find of the creators of Bosco Verticale is the idea of an organic combination of high-rise buildings and green landscapes. Looks very interesting. The vertical forest changes its appearance depending on the season.

Bosco Verticale is a pair of residential towers which envelopes a veritable forest on it's facades. The 260' & 360' towers outfitted with projecting balconies house some 800 trees and over 5000 shrubs resembling an exterior amazon jungle. This environmental architectural project has turned into somewhat of a tourist attraction.

It would be a dream to live on this ecosystem of a building. With actual trees lining every crevice of a persons patio giving life in every aspect. Talk about living in nature. I wish I could live there

One of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen! People who live there are extremely lucky. Easy to spot as soon as you exit the Gioia station and it’s worth some time. There are even benches in the park, for those who want to enjoy the view as much as possible.
