Tickets to view Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper go on sale three months in advance and sell out quickly, although it's sometimes possible to buy tickets closer to your visit. If you don't manage to purchase tickets on your own, consider visiting The Last Supper as part of a tour. It's much more expensive, but worth it if you don't want to miss out.

We arrived just for drinks after mass in the cathedral and four bottles later had lunch. The staff were attentive, accommodating and helpful with advice. The superdomo Sacha was very hospitable and plied us with very fine grappa after the meal, on the house. Lovely food and a very happy visit.

Was a cool experience to see the painting but that's about it. It looked a lot more worn down in person than how I have seen it before going, and I think they take themselves a little too seriously there to get into the actual room to see it. I unfortunately had to buy my ticket with a tour from... More

The Dominican Convent was completed in 1469 and is attached to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie (1463-97) in the historical center of Milan. It has a separate entrance from the church as you have to enter through two different rooms to get to the large climatized refectory or dining room to view Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece fresco "The... We had to wait some time before we could enter with a group of 15 persons to see the "original" Last Supper by Leonardo Da VInci. In meantime we visited the magnificent church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with his "cupola"an example of special architecture.

Had a timed ticket to visit Leonardo's famous fresco in the former dining room of the monastery. Note that you have to proceed into a sealed room first for 15 minutes before entering for a strictly timed 15 minutes to allow humidity, temperature to be controlled. However, on the wall of the 'waiting room' are helpful explanations and other information.... More

We were delighted to find tickets for the same afternoon as we went to view the church and found out that there was a vacancy for that day. So giving it a try won't harm. Otherwise you cannot explain seeing a masterpiece.

Perhaps Milan’s most important attraction and one of the hardest tickets to get is Leornado da Vinci’s painting, The Last Supper or Il Cenacolo in Italian. Leonardo did the commission in the monastery next to the Santa Maria delle Grazie church between 1495 and 1498. Visitors have two ways to score tickets here. One is by calling 39 02 92800360... Wonderful, worthwhile, a must during your visit in Milan. Don´t forget to book it in advance, you can enjoy the Leonardo´s art achievement during only 15 minutes.
