The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

On the ancient remains of the imperial palace.
Jan. 2020
beatiful church wich stand where the imperial palace was located in Roman times.
In 313, Costantine for the Western empire and Licinus for the Eastern empire wrote the Edict wich allowed all citizens to honor their gods. Thus ended the persecutions against Christians.
A first church was built in 750, then in the 12th century it was enlarged.
In 1774 Francesco croce designed the facade we can see today.
The bell tower and the dome were built 125 years leater.
This cgurch is the seat of the Sacred Military Order of the Knights of San Giorgio wich arose as military dynastic order after the crusades.
Iside you can see paintings of Gaudenzio Ferrari and Bernardino Luini togheter with beatiful statues , frescoes and decorations

This is a traditional church. Admire the paintings and sculptures. Take a few moments off in quiet, tranquil surroundings for meditation. It is really worth it.

Nice Church

San Giorgio was founded around 750 by archbishop Natalis, and was modernized in Baroque style by Francesco Maria Richini in 1623. The façade, designed by Francesco Croce, was built in the 18th century.

Beautiful Christ's passion paintings
Jan. 2015 • Couples
This Church with a XVIII facade is located in a small square along via Torino. But concentrate on admiring the beautiful restored paintings by Bernardino Luini in the Cappella della Passione in the right nave. Here he describes moments of the Passion of Christ. In particular stop to admire the Deposition of Christ from the cross. All characters are moving and express this sad moment. At its sides look at the Falgellation of Christ and the Ecce Homo and in the upper lunette the Derision of Christ. On the top arch one observes the fresco of the crucifixion of Christ.
