This tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Frederica, had such passion and knowledge. We toured as a family with a three year old, and she was so patient! Friendly, warm, rich in knowledge, and amusing as well, wish we could travel the world with her to make every tour so worthwhile.

Sole reason for going to Milan was to climb to rooftop of this beautiful cathedral. I use a walking stick after quite a few falls with broken bones. This was my goal. Cathedral is breathtaking with little statues in the smallest place. The view was amazing but if you go up there always look up as well. I was slow and able to stand to side when got extra busy. Was thankful when a lady came to take me down in lift as stairs going down are hard. Thank you to all the beautiful patient other visitors. Do not miss this cathedral even if your sick of churches. Magnificent portals and inside is so different.

This is an amazing cathedral and we have seen many! We have never seen as many statues as are on this one. A must is a trip onto the roof. it actually started to rain heavily but still would not have wanted to miss the experience.

Lovely cathedral with an amazing exterior and interior. Sadly the back section by the massive stained glass is closed off so uou cant get a very good look at them. Website to buy tickets is difficult to use. We got the full package tickets (roof + museum + interior) which also includes another museum that we accidentally double booked, so pay extra attention. lines form quickly even before they open so be there early. they make you go to the roof first. even at opening time September it was oppressively sunny and hot. Saw lots of people not adhering to dress code. Museum was ok.

Book to go inside a bed the museum. Lots of history and the museum brings this too Luce in a striking manner. Only criticism is the staff on the ticket/ payment kiosk where unfortunately unfriendly ( which went against the grain as everyone else who we encountered on out trip where really friendly and helpful). Go back and see the Duomo on an evening!

I pitched our tickets online a week prior to our visit. I chose the lift, church, and museum. I also purchased the audio tour. Both we worth every penny. Suggestions: I chose 11am. We picked up audio guides prior to our lift time. This is a must do! You don’t have to wait in lines. Remember to bring your ID. They hold it until you return the device. When we were finished with our tour (about 1 1/2 hours) we skipped the time to return our audio guides.

The cathedral itself is impressive but what is stunning is the roof terraces. The queue for the booking office was very long - you would be better buying tickets online in advance. The lift to the roof terrace is at the back (outside) the cathedral. The roof terraces themselves are extensive and have lots of access. The cathedral and square was extremely busy - we were there on a Thursday afternoon in term time but it didn't detract from the experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Initially I had my concerns. The slick ticketing system, gift shop and cost for the toilet made me feel this was a very good money grab from tourists. However, once you enter the cathedral it is hard not to be overwhelmed by the size, detail and history of this building. You could easily sit and look around all day. We went to the terrace by stairs and got a great view of the city. Not sure how safe this would be on a wet day however.

The rooftop experience is truly incredible. Amazing to see the detailed and precise workmanship on such a grand scale. Inside the dump was beautiful of course, but it doesn’t match the rooftop experience. Fairly lengthy section of th3 roof to explore, no5 just a viewpoin5 o4 two.

We had an amazing guided tour from Julia, she was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly it really made the visit. I booked this directly with the cathedral. The cathedral itself is stunning but to hear all suit and various points of interest completed the visit. We had the full rooftop and archeological visit it was great and I would definitely recommend this when visiting Milan. Thanks again Julia
