This large eclectic private collection is a true treasure. It not only displays some of the most outstanding art masterpieces of the world (Raphael, Botiicelli, and many others). Not to miss the ancient weapons exhibition and all the other collections.

The Poldi Pezzoli is a wonderful small private museum that we happened upon on a very rainy day. We spent approx 2 hours discovering the many treasures, and they are just that. Very conveniently located, the museum is well-worth visiting - a little gem.

Initially a family collection built up over centuries, there are some real gems. From Clocks and watches, religious icons, the collections of armour and porcelain. A very eclectic mix and worth going just to see the statue of Christ the redeemer, which is truly breathtaking.

This museum has a character all its own and is well worth visiting. It is near La Scala and you could tour both in an afternoon.
