Classiest shopping mall in the world. You can´t visit Milan and not come here. It´s a modern shrine to fashion and design which explains the wannabe models dressed to kill being filmed against the big name windows even in the freezing cold. Shopping is not really my scene but it has two decent bookshops, including Feltrineli, which both have good English selections. Sky high prices in bars and restaurants so check around. There are plenty of cheaper places nearby. It´s also facing the Scala Opera House on one side and, of course, The Duomo on the other. It must be the classiest shopping mall in the world.

Incredible architecture. Stunning design. This is where the beautiful and the rich come to shop. Which for me, is part of the problem. It’s so sad to see people display their wealth when others are really struggling right now. Such is life.

Absolutely loved this mall which looks stunning just to walk through. Of course it was super busy and buzzing with all the high end brands having shops right around. This is a shoppers paradise or even for window shopping and feasting your eyes

Luxury to the T!!!!! Beautiful everything from the architect, flooring, Brand stores, elegant restaurants,,,, What a fun day! All around the place are surrounded by Allie’s full of visitors and shops, Italian little eateries. So Fun!

A top notch high end brands right opposite Duomo. If you are a budget buyer then probably move a little on outskirts of this area in 1 km radius you may get some good brands and deal. The perfume market in Rinascente Plaza next to galleria is worth spending a few dollars.

Crowded and the shops and restaurants are at luxury level and accordingly expensive. The main attraction in the middle under the dome is hardly accessible. Too many people. As a result, there is also a very high noise level here.

A compulsory stop for anyone on their first visit to Milan - literally only a one minute walk from the Duomo. Some nice shops and cafes and of course on any and every visit to Milan you have to spin around three times on the oversized genitalia of the bull in the floor to bring you good luck. On a more serious note do have a good look around you including upwards; this neo-renaissance building is one of the finest 19th century iron-framed buildings and one of the earliest shopping plazas in Europe. A quite fabulous piece of architecture.

If you truly want to feel that you are at the center of the world of fashion, head to the center of the Galleria and take a spin. You'll see every high fashion/couture brand represented. Be sure to visit both day and night to see its beauty lit up. It is an incredibly busy throughway so just beware of the crowds. If you're looking for high end shopping or a Michelin star bite to eat, this is the place to be. For a more affordable fashion souvenir, head to the Piumelli shop. The gentlemen there are incredibly friendly and helpful with great quality Italian leather products.

A must see in Milan. The original Fratelli Prada is located here. Also, find the bull on the floor and put your heel in and spin three times counter clockwise for good luck! This place at night is magical. All high end stores and experiences. Great restaurants overlooking it.

The Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II is the oldest active shopping mall in the world. The beautiful iron and glass ceiling is quite impressive. The mosaics on the floor complement the ceiling. The mall is about half way between La Scala and the Duomo di Milano. The mall is a short walk from La Scala and from the Duomo di Milano.
