Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a nice street to walk up and down. Something is sure to catch your eye and prices are not high end. We were here on a Saturday and also stumbled upon a Saturday flea market which was nice. If you get tired, there are also fast food, cafes or restaurants to take a break.

Corso Buenos Aires is one of the main shopping streets in Milan. Rather long, very busy road, facilitated in its accessibility by three underground stations that affect it. You can find almost all kinds of shops and for all budgets.

No one around, this very important street with hundreds of shops is empty.
I hope this disastrous situation will end soon

Corsa Buenos Aires is a popular shopping venue in the city of Milan. Find style and your favorite looks for a fraction of the cost of other retail districts IN town!
You can spend hours here ! It’s a very delightful experience : upbeat and lots of bargains to be had . Prices vary from mid range to bargain .
The street seems to roll on forever .. I lost track of time and had to come back 3 times to cover it all .
The best part : this amazing spread of shoos , restaurants & street vendors is just a 10 minute walk from Milano Central train station .
DONT MISS Corsa Buenos Aires on your tour of Milan : A MUST SEE

Their are lots of very, very expensive shops in Milan but the brands on Corso Buenos Aires has shops well known on European high streets such as Fossil, and other shops not so well known. We found a great shop ( wish I could remember it's name) it was one of those shops that sells things that you didn't know you needed like special spectacles to apply mascara ( women who wear glasses will understand why these could be handy)
We visited at night and it was still very lively. Loved the Porta Venzia all lit up at the end of the street

A fabulous street to shop! There is a burger king and also McDonalds is way down the bottom end and around the corner. Wonderful retail shopping! heaps of shoe shops that are NOT expensive, with boots and shoes to die for, girls! Clothing stores galore including H@M, Fossil, Beneton too many to name. I went two days in a row and finished up with blisters on the soles of my feet!!!...but enjoyed every minute of it. There is a wonderful deli there also, which is worth a visit just to see inside, . If you go on a Sunday morning the shops do not open until 10 or 11am.

This shop is located off the Corso Buenos Aires at the part where the tram passes. They boast themselves selling a combination of Armani goods etc. I bought a handbag that was sold to me as leather. Upon reaching the hotel my husband pointed out that it was not leather but merely made of synthetic leather, so I immediately went back to the store to return the goods. The lady denied me and claimed that the non-English speaking sales person did not know what she was talking about. They refused to return the money and instead only offered me to change with other goods from their limited selection store.
I did not do it, kept the fake leather bag, and consider my Eur 170 a loss but determined to write about them on tripadvisor.

My daughter and I spent 4 days in the city during the start of the summer sale (first weekend in July) and this was one of the best shopping areas (together with corso Vittorio Emmanuele) we encountered during our trip! You have lots of chain stores like all over the world (H&M, Pimkie, Tally Weijl, etc.), affordable designer stores like Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Calvin Klein, but also you have less well known (chain) stores like Stradivarius (young clothes), Vergelio (shoes) and nice independent, smaller local stores. In between you have ice-cream stores and cafes, a nice mix of everything. No big designer names though like Prada or Gucci - if you want that you need to go to Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele or Via della Spiga etc. Most shops were also open on Sunday!

Best shopping in Milan for the average person as Designer shops near the Duomo prices are beyond the reach of the average traveller. Beautiful shops & great eateries too

Not sure of exact hours but most were open at 6PM in November and started closing at 8 Am which is sort of common throughout Italy, But they do not Siesta in Milan. Days don't seem to matter in Italy, Usually, Monday is the closed day in Italy

We want to explore Milan in a "local" way. Where do locals shop for their food? Is there outdoor food market like the Christmas markets that are popular across Europe? Thanks!

just my opinion . You are in Milan which is a very large and modern city. I think you aren't going to find what you are looking for in Milan . it's more expensive and upper class than say Naples or the rest of Italy. There are numerous markets daily and I have a review on one. But even the markets are more up scale than other Italian city's. Also Corso Buenos Aires is a long street about a mile long with designer stores . It is a great location with easy metro access.
