Just to be clear about it, we didn`t actually eat there. Nevertheless, I`m "reviewing" it, so that people know that although it was supposed to be open, according to their own announcement, the doors were closed and nobody would answer. We drove there by our...More

The Restaurante Il Caminetto cooking class is so much more than a cooking lesson. It's a rich opportunity to see an ancient town on a mountain above Lake Como, to hear how locals live, to learn about a second generation restaurant and to relax for...More

Spent the good part of the day with Chef Morena learning how to make tortelloni, a wonderful tomato sauce, and prosciutto-wrapped turkey breast! What fun! He is a great teacher, and the classroom was filled with laughter and amazing aromas. Don’t miss!

Moreno's cooking class is a fantastic experience. He is as much an entertainer and comedian as much he is a chef. I highly recommend this experience. You'll have a great time, the wine will flow and the food is incredible! Enjoy! Anthony
