Highly recommend to visit this beautiful local wine bar to escape the crowds (and heat if visiting in summer) to experience a truly warm local hosts. Great local selection of wines, and simply trust the advice if not sure what you want. Grab an outside seat to people watch, enjoy the local vino and sit back and enjoy the service. Many thanks to Christian and his band of Merry men for a highlight on our trip to Varenna.

What a fun place! Every time we walked by, there were people laughing and enjoying good wine. The tables on the small pedestrian street made for a great place to gather. Hermes and Stefano were great hosts. Felt like we were having wine with friends. And good quality. Extra special that the kept the shop open late so we could watch the Champions League football final. We went here every day we were in Varenna.

We where told to visit this wine shop by a friend. The owner was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wine tasting and great conversation. Would recommend

Such an amazing place! Came here for a wine tasting, ended up staying for 4.5 hours. Friendly staff, amazing wine, and a really fun experience in a very special place. Would highly recommend :)

We visited here a couple of nights during our stay in Varenna where the knowledgeable and friendly team helped us choose a variety of local wines to try. We would highly recommend a visit.

A very good selection of Italian wines from different regions - if interested in trying some more upmarket wine in a relly nice locaiton, can thoroughly recommend this.

Fantastic atmosphere and the friendliest staff. Amazing Prosecco and Spritz😊 and nice snacks. The wine bar is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Varenna which is an added bonus. THE place to come for your afternoon drink.

This is the number 1 bar to go to in Varenna. The best wine and atmosphere. We went here several times and the staff is so friendly. Great aperitivo and great local wine!

It depends on where your hotel is located. From where we stayed, it was an easy walk. But there are steps if you are coming from the waterfront.
