Had so much fun going up the hill for a spectacular view and a chance to walk further up the hill into some cool pathways and the lighthouse view at the top!

Definitely a must-do when in Como. It gets pretty crowded mid day so going early is best to beat the crowds. I like that there is a little bar where you buy tickets so if you need a refreshment or prosecco (yes please!) while waiting...More

Taking the funicular was a quaint experience. For a great view try to be early for your ride as it's usually packed.

The quite steep funiculare brings you almost to the top of the hill , where you can get a magnifcent view of the lake , and of the Alps , with the Monte Rosa clearly visible

There are some great views, but generally in December it is cold and nothing to do there. You can take few fotos and that’s all

You can walk around. There are a few shops, snack bars, and restaurants. Some small streets to explore and discover the area. People live up there. Enjoy!

Was there 2 weeks ago. My mother was on wheel chair, I had no issues getting her around. At the top, still able to push her around.

You can probably seat about 6 per carriage (maybe slightly less in front and rear carriages) and there are about 4 carriages. There is also standing room.
