From La Punta Spartivento one gets a beautiful view of Bellagio and the northern portion of Lago Como. The hills, mountains and lake all combine to make this must see view if in or nearby Lago Como.

When you set foot in Bellagio (and the best way really is to arrive by boat) you will understand why George Clooney took one look at his house and signed on the dotted line! Is there a more beautiful place on earth? NO Bellagio, with...More

After visiting the beautiful but crowded Bellagio I suggest you try the 5 minute walk through to the northernmost point of the triangle that divides the two lakes. Here there are usually less tourists, you have a much wider view of the fantastic lake and...More

This spot combines the natural beauty of the two arms of the lake with their mountainous backdrop and views of villages on the shores. If boat tickets to Bellagio are hard to obtain, the bus trip from Como is cheap and offers dramatic vistas.

We had the lake fish five ways and the best veal chop ever. With a nice bottle of white wine we had a Great Lake view lunch.

We had lunch at La Punta whilst staying in Bellagio, it’s open most of the day so you can have a late lunch. The food was fantastic, service fast and efficient. The location overlooks the lake also.

We went to La Punta for our first meal in Lake Como. Food was very average for anywhere so particularly so for Italy. Nevertheless we enjoyed sitting on the veranda, looking out over the lake and mountains and taking in the summer breeze.
