Incredible grounds and vegetation. We saw olive trees, chestnut trees, persimmons tree, lime trees, and a whole bunch of trees and plants that we never would have thought would be here. Nice way to pass a couple of hours (€6.50 per person).
Just 10 min walk from the centre of Bellagio, you find Gardens of Villa Melzi. The entrance fee is €6.50.
The botanical gardens are simply exceptional and not at all busy. The only downside there is no cafe ... otherwise I would have stayed all...More
A visit to Bellagio is not complete without a walking tour of Villa Melzi. The beautifully manicured gardens coupled with the numerous variety of flowers and trees is complimented by amazing views, every way you turn.
The gardens are stunning and worth a visit. On a hot day plenty of shade from the mature trees and stunning views of the lake and villages on the opposite side hugging the dramatic mountains.
The entry price is small for what is at least...More
