Try and time you trip so you reach this destination at about 1:00 pm local time and you will get to see this sun calendar in action. This is a very different and unique experience.

This solar callendar is fun to check out. Especially for Idiana Jones fans it can be rewarding to wait till noon (or one during daylight saving time) to check where the ray of light falls.

once upon a time, people had no smartphones, not even a swatch on their wrist, but they had a Meridian. this one is large and will tell you where the sun is, if you are lucky enough to have a sunny day.

It is a most complete meridian giving you the time of the month over the whole year. Unfortunately it works only when the sun shines.
