I stopped by GAMeC mostly for it's temporary exhibition dedicated to Andy Warhol (Andy Warhol. The multiplied work: Warhol and after Warhol - on till July 30th). GAMeC is a good place to hang by, also in the courtyard as there are often open air...More

This place has a small permanent collection, but while I was there they had a really good Andy Warhol exhibition on. The permanent collection isn't work going to on its own, but paired with a good temp exhibition or with Accademia Carrara it's worth a...More

We visited with a Bergamo Card but the staff seemed disappointed that we only wanted to visit the permanent exhibition and did not want to pay to visit a temporary exhibition. The modern art on display was OK but nothing stunning. The courtyard looked fun...More

Don't waste your time getting here... it will be quite a walk from Bergamo alta although on the map it looks close, it takes over half an hour to reach. Don't expect to see stunning works, unless there is an exhibition going on in which...More

Visited this gallery to see the retrospective of Palma il Vecchio paintings. A superb exhibition, and really well presented. If you late early Italian masters then you should visit this exhibition while it is on. The gallery has obtained paintings from across all Europe and...More
