You have to climb a lot of stairs, but the view is incredible. If you don't want/are able to take the stairs you can also take the elevator.

The attendant at the desk may not be very informative, but don't let that put you off. This is a wonderful little museum--small enough to take it all in, with sophisticated delivery of its story. Turns out you can even get a free audio guide...More

Well worth paying 5 EUR to go up the bell tower - although beware, when you reach the top you're really close to the bells should they ring! The museum is also very interesting, and somewhat interactive.

For 5€ you will get ticket to museum and to the tower. From there is a beautiful sight on the whole city. Then the museum - lots of multimedial exhibitions. Only problem is that everything is just in italian. Still worth the money

It is an unmissable thing. Beautiful view. Before you go up, you need to check the time! They are ringing just above your head, so do not be scared.

It is worth spending the few Euros to step up the old tower to have a splendid view over the city. In the lower floor is a museum about the history of Bergamo. We just gave it a glimpse because our time was short

About half way up the hill of the old town is this beautiful square with a couple of restruants and views of the nearby churches and cathedral. Its a great place to chill and watch the world go by.

The tower is located in Piazza Vecchia and you can buy a ticket for the tower only or combined with the Arhaelogical Museum. We just went to the top of the tower and skipped the museum for 3 € per person. Fabulous views will open...More
