You will not be disappointed when visiting the gardens. The views from the top are great. You can adjust your route in the park depending on how much time you have.

Impressive and huge botanical garden that stretches across an entire hillside down to the sea. We visited on a very hot day and unfortunately there was only one place to buy drinks (and very basic food). Few opportunities to park your car outside.

This is the ultimate garden experience. It is an English designed exotic garden loacted on a cliff above the sea shore. It contains many cactus and succulent species. The views of the Italian Riviera are superb and you can really get lost in this garden....More

We visited here several years ago and found it a delightful location to enjoy the superb Mediterranean gardens, even a roman road. Lots of walking.

A lot of the guidebooks make out this is in Ventimiglia - it isn't it's almost in France! We gave up in the end but it's 5km out of town and not well signposted at all!

You can get there by bus from Ventimiglia . There is one at 9.30 from the main road near the railway station. The bus stops opposite the Hanbury Gardens and it costs about 3 euros. There is a website rivieratvaposti.orario... More
