The grounds and Villa are beautiful. I would have loved to tour the house. Even though the sign indicates it should have been open, it was not. My visit to Villa Durazzo was a special one, it is the ancestral home of our family that had moved to the U.S. some generations ago. One reason for the trip to Italy... More

We happened on Villa Durazzo by accident during our stay in Santa Margarita! What a lovely surprise and only a few minutes from the town and seafront! A lovely, uphill, but not steep, walk to the Villa through some delightful shady grounds. At the top, the Villa and Church are a delight. There is a coffee shop. Best of all,... More

We stumbled upon this by accident after climbing up to the church. Beautiful building , park and lovely quiet coffee shop. There is a beautiful fountain and loads of Terrapins in the gardens. Just a lovely peaceful place

Nice looking building from the outside - it was closed for a wedding (Bride / groom had flown in from Scotland for the day!!!!!) Locals said it was mainly a wedding venue so difficult to see inside. But views were impressive and the coffee shop was fun

Came here by ferry from Portofino as part of a Windstar cruise excursion. Loved it. Cool old villa in a great old spot. Had some great food here but it was probably catered for the excursion. Cool ol church adjacent as well.

Climb along the direct route was taxing; found a direct route stairwell down to the waterfront on the way out which was much easier. The church and grounds are beautiful and well kept.

I was enjoying a beautiful afternoon walk around the small town and I saw the entrance of the park. I could really not prevent myself from going inside! It seemed to me like a dream to enjoy all that shade, all those wonderful trees, the silence, the freshness. Don't miss the chance to visit it! The entrance to the park... More

This is a beautiful old palazzo set in lovely gardens, and is a place that is popular for weddings (including Rod Stewart and Wayne Rooney according to their website). It stands high above the town with good views and the interior rooms are very interesting to look around, with the help of information provided in the booklet given to all... More

Visited Villa Durazzo as part of a private event held by Windstar cruises. The location and the food were spot on. The grounds were beautiful. Just a short ferry ride from Portofino and worth every minute
