Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful sea promenade with typical Ligurian colors.
Beautiful benches and side offering the spectacle of His Majesty the Sea. Features the stairs that descend to reach Lidi, Bars or Restaurants. Beautiful view on the Ligurian promontories

Genova is a city of fabulous walks, and this magnificent Corso di Italia is the best of them all. You will see joggers, families, seniors, and more, all enjoying fantastic views all the way to Boccadasse. I do wish the City would build a nicer connection with Porto Antico... there's an unfortunate bit of stumbling over cracked concrete and wandering through parking lots to get onto the Corso. When returning, consider going back through downtown rather than along the water... I got lost in the Fiera and ended up stuck in the secure area of the Port, having to backtrack a mile or so.

The coast offers beautiful views, and taking a walk up to Boccadasse and back is a good opportunity to take it in.

The path is paved so easy to walk on for anyone, and with drinking fountains every mile or so.

Beautifully paved area leading from Boccadasse to Genova passing various bars, lidos and palazzi. If you tire, you can take a break on one of the many benches or pick up a bus and go into the centre on wheels

Corso Italia is a long promenade of about 3 km and it is a splendid walk along the sea – you come across some lovely houses, small beaches, good cafes and restaurants and the beautiful scenery follows you everywhere.

We walked along the whole Corso Italia and got to the village of Boccadasse. With its old coloured houses and small fishermen harbour Bocaddasse is a magical place. Just add to that having a delicious ice cream while sitting on the rocks and the picture is simply fairy-tale. Obviously, it is a touristic place but In the middle of September it was pretty quiet and relaxing. Bliss!

If you visit Bocadasse, Corso Italia can be a nice continuation of your walk. It's a very beautiful promenade that follows the seashore guarded by palmtrees. If you like you can stop at one of the beach facilities for a dip in the sea.

I walked from the centre of Genoa to Boccadessa (1 hour brisk walk), stopped for a coffee and continued on to Quarto (another 30-40 minutes) where I caught the train back into town. Mostly a very simple and flat walk (a few mild hills) and along the way there are some spectacular houses and buildings and some wonderful coastal scenes - great for exercise and photography.

A very nice place in the heart of the city ... where you can walk or run with a stunning view of the Ligurian sea. Maybe not too much well served by coffee shops but recommend. If you like to walk, go to east up to Boccadasse, you will enjoy

We visited this boardwalk in what should have been the height of summer activity, and yet the boardwalk was completely empty. There's nothing really to see or do here, and the view isn't particularly great. If in Genova and staying nearby, it's worth strolling down to, but otherwise, you're not missing anything.
