Charming Trobetskoy sculptures, some grand Boldinis, and two Sorollas - interesting to see how a wool trader at the turn of the century was spending his money.

The art collected by these two brothers is a decorative, human collection. Lots of works that showed artists concerned about real people. The villa Grimaldi Fassio, in which the collection is housed, shows how art can be collected in a private residence. This collection is as good as the Barnes collection, even though the artists here are less well known.... More
