This is one of the best church interiors in Genoa, far more impressive than the nearby cathedral. Brilliant colours and good lighting add to the splendour.

This is a must visit church although from the outside you waould hardly really give it a second look. However once inside - this is a jaw dropper! Every surface in the church from top to has either inlaid marble, a fresco, a sculpture a...More

I visited the this magnificant church during the evening service and was amazed at the architecture which is embossed with gold features & paintings. The piazzas and palaces around the church are also worthy of detailed exploration! Recommended!

We went in on a Sunday just before the mass started and were honoured to hear the priest and congregation sing a most beautiful hymn which we managed to record. A beautiful church that we would have wished to have spent much more time in.

A must-see stop, as you stroll through downtown Genoa. Breathtaking artwork everywhere, including 2 paintings by Peter Paul Reubens.

Definitely worth a visit although it does not look like much from the outside. Different from the St Lawrence Cathedral which is spectacular outside but inside not much to see.
