Many years ago, 5 Terre was one of the most beautiful places one could see and I went there to walk from Riomaggiore to Monterosso at least once every year, to enjoy the amazing verticality and world-renown seafront landscape. Nowadays, because of landslides, the most...More

This trail is closed except for the first couple hundred metres at the end of which is the Bar via dell'amore, a delicious lemon juice might make up for the fact. Really the slide happened quite a few years ago and countless tourists have felt...More

Via dell'Amore is a great trail, when it's open. We walked through this trail a number of years ago when it was open and really enjoyed the experience. The path can be a bit tricky in parts but that is part of its appeal. The...More

I have talked to locals and found out that the trail is closed for a few years now, but nobody announced that neither on websites, nor at any other place... I was wrong for not coming here before and look up the place. :) In...More

We hope that Via Dell Amore would had been open, but it doesn't. Maybe next time.. I heard that you can walk it like 200m from Manarola, but we didn't walk it.

To do the hike in Cinque Terre you must do the higher elevations which is more difficult but views are beautiful. Two sections of the lower trails are closed and inaccessible due to landslides.

We walked up to the entrance of the Via Dell Amore in Manarola knowing the majority of path was still closed but wanted to see what we could. The short distance that is reopened has such an amazing view. It became our first memories of...More

Sorry for the late answer. The path is blocked between Manarola and Riomaggiore. I am not sure if it is Open i 2017. I heard they talked about 2018. So do not expect this.
