We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited the incredible place with the help of the young people of FAI. It is a wonderful experience because of you will know how the tecnologies in the past were used.

The guides welcomed us with a fantastic overall technical and historical explanation. We left a contribution to the association as the whole tour was free of charge!

Yes this place is worth it. If you like old industrial technology you must visit this place.
First of all is free, very well refurbished and quite quick to visit.
This centrale was used to pump the water driving all the port cranes in the old days, very nice spot to undertsand the old days.
I definitely recommend this place.

I went there to see the exhibition on Lloyd. It is difficult to find the entrance when coming by bus and not knowing it is the yellow building! But the building and the machines are worth the trouble.

A hidden gem in the "Porto Vecchio" area of Trieste, the Centrale Idrodinamica was recently renovated and is really an unicum of its kind. It was one of the places open for the "Giornate di Primavera del FAI" (aka Spring Days of FAI, the Italian National Trust) and as a FAI volunteer, I really enjoyed the visit. This structure was able to move, via a smart grid of hydraulic pipelines, all the devices used in the Port, like cranes or elevators. I strongly hope it will be possible that more people will visit this building and the rest of the area, since from this area may give birth to a "new" Trieste.

Really interesting, you can see the only example of a hydrodynamic central with all its parts (boilers, pumps..). You can see a mooving pump too! In the same place in these days there is an exhibition on the Lloyd Triestino company. You can reach the place by bus or taxi.

I visited the location: great job. Problem: you need a taxi to get there. Only free shuttle service almost unknown at Central Railway station . Exhibition on Lloyd Triestino with great material but text and explanations full of mistakes. A lot of misspellings. Overpriced catalogue. Very friendly (embarrassed) people at front desk.
