For those who wrote bad reviews a few years back due to the limited opening hours, I have good news! When I visited it on June 22nd, 2019, Saturday, I saw the sign at the entrance showing it is open from 10 to 17, Thursday through Sunday. Now the bad news. For the 1+ hours I was there, no one else was there - not even the staff! Further, all exhibits are in Italian. Thus, I have no ideas what I was seeing. It seems to me that the museum is running on a tight budget. If this is the case, it is really sad. From reading others' comments, I realize this is a museum for an Italian national hero. My suggestion is whoever runs this museum should contact the local university to make it an extra credit project to translate the exhibits from Italian to English. Many students would do it for free since they get credits. You don't even have to spend money! If this were a museum for my national hero, I would want the whole world to learn about him and what he has done! I hope the Italian state feels the same way.
