Historically accurate and nicely presented. On the water, Gardens surround it. Easy walking. Had a handheld device to hear all about it

Castle itself is nothing special - save your buck and instead go for a walk in the surrounding gardens or enjoy the view from the pier - sunsets here are especially impeccable. City beach just nearby.

This should be the number #1 ranked attraction in Trieste. The castle is nicely preserved with great period furnishings and historical pieces. The museum is educational and helps you appreciate the significance of the castle's former occupants. The park grounds are lovely with magnificent ocean views everywhere you look.

An amazing place to go and see.i strongly raccomand a walk close to the sea and go across the amazing garden consider at least 5 hours. Fully served by parking foc and pay per use. You get to the town just in 10 minutes out of the highway E70. I leaved there my heart 😎😎😎😎😎

I have been in many castles, but this one truly is on of the best. The whole area is steeped in history. I spent at least 30 minutes photographing the Roman ruins outside before crossing the drawbridge into the castle. There a small fee to enter the 'inner places' but so worth it. The exhibits are well done. I especially... More

This Castle is located at the very west part of Trieste, we liked the nature sorounding it, and the lovely architecture.

The Miramare castle was the most beautiful location in the city in our opinion. Of course the historical town is beautiful, but it's kind of similar to many other cities in italy and Europe. Miramare is more unique. It's a nice mansion location in a rocky promontory with a beautiful park behind it. You have combined views of the sea,... More

We took a bus here and it was quite easy as it was at the end of the bus line. It was interesting and a great place to visit. Prepared to do a lot of walking. The gardens are nice to walk through and there is a small café on site.
