Alberti, Piero della Francesca, and even Giotto. These names are good reasons to visit this place. A fantastic decoration. Stunning.

Both the exterior and interior design of the church is really arty-crafty. You can make a stop at this church if you are at Rimini train station, it is only a few minutes away from it and it is the midway to Arco d'Augusto.

This unfinished church is very ordinary looking from the outside, but inside, whilst not in the same league as the mosaic churches in Ravenna, it is fairly impressive. There are some old frescoes and nice marble and carved decoration.

One of the rulers of Rimini built this large church originally as a 'family church' to express his glory, etc. The outside is unfinished (and suffered from earthquakes, etc) but inside it is spacious and full of captivating details, mostly Renaissance ones

Basilica Cattedrale (Tempio Malatestiano) has history including surviving wars, read up prior to going. Take time to view all the detail outside.

we were able to get to the square and and participate to the Sunday service in this very large and incredibly well lit cathedral, it might feel "empty" to the lovers of the Italian baroque, but it si gorgeous
