Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Quite practical & managed to get our train to Zürich after an upsetting time with a lady operating the public toilets. Very unfriendly aggressive & abusive. Hopefully she’s not like that to all tourist who don’t hv change to use the toilets!!! Other than that , Italy 🇮🇹 is beautiful.

Small train station with mostly commuter traffic. Go early to purchase tickets as there will be lines in front of the automatic machines. There are more machines in the underpass that connects the platforms, but you'll find lines there too. Don't forget to stamp your ticket before boarding any train.

Neither fu nor fa, normal. It is not a remarkable station in any sense. It also does not offer many facilities or much information, what a difference from Bologna. Occasional delays due to works and platform changes, but nothing serious.

We liked it very much, it is modern full of information and you can easily catch a lot of buses, as at the same time this is the center for the buses.

First time in Parma, I looked for accommodation near the station, a bus crossroads for the airport. On Tuesday morning 16 April I took the train to Brescello, ticket made with the Trenitalia app and subsequent check-in, the train was an old one with high steps, so maximum attention on the ups and downs. On the negative side, on the train, the toilet was closed. For the rest: automatic ticket machines with touchscreen and physical ticket office on the ground floor accessed by escalator (which worked while I was there) or classic stairs. I counted 8 platforms, seats, monitors that updated the time and return routes. On the ground floor however, while waiting for/arriving buses, I noticed homeless people sleeping under blankets and cardboard, all under the eyes of many passers-by including tourists and residents and the touchscreen totems for Tep tickets. The strong points of the station are: the presence of the tactile map at the entrance between Braille dots with white pictograms in relief for reading by blind passengers and the long tactile paths on the ground (the well-known Loges) for sliding the white stick of the blind.

Today, 02/21/2024 I went to the station in Parma to get on the fast regional train 3929 at 3.27pm headed to Cesena. Having reached platform 4 shortly before departure, it was announced that the train had been cancelled. To get clarifications on subsequent departures and the validity of the ticket I already had, I turned to the staff at the ticket office. Unfortunately I received hasty, annoyed, less than exhaustive, or rather annoyed, replies!! I was truly saddened to see how some people have no scruples in deliberately being unavailable and rude to others.

Sleazy! Worst station in Emilia. Zero services, degradation, there is not even a tobacconist nearby, not a shop, not a bookshop. The food capital offers only junk, Arabic or Chinese food! A colossal structure, a squalid refuge for the outcasts of the area!

Beggars, alcoholics and drug dealers who practically live in the station, ask for alms and make pathetic scenes to gain someone's pity, at -1 gangs of boys who use it as if it were a place to spend the evenings, occupying the stairs and to pass you have to ask permission. Zero checks, Police are sometimes outside but should guard the station inside and outside 24 hours a day.
