My husband and I were looking forward to our food tours with Elisabetta. Just as we rode the rental car to meet up with her, my husband pulled his back and was in excruciating pain. When Elisabetta arrived, without any hesitation, made it a forgone conclusion she was going to take care of us. She called an ambulance and spent... More

We had one day to experience Parma. We were recommended Elisabetta Ivaldi for a guide to the C.P.L. Parma, Parmigiano cheese factory. We also wanted a tour of a prosciutto factory. She made it so simple and booked a driver for both places and made it possible for us to see both of them in day. She was very passionate... More

My wife arranged for us to spend a morning with Elisabetta touring a parmigiano cheese factory followed by a tour of a prosciutto factory - I don't always go along on my wife's little "adventures", but I'm really glad I went with her on this day. Elisabetta's wealth of knowledge and personality made this an informative and fun day -... More

My wife and I contacted Elisabetta by email and within just a couple of hours were able to book her for a last minute tour of a couple Parmesan and Prosciutto factories. She was an absolutely fantastic tour guide and very knowledgeable. She arranged for a private car to take us to the places and she provided tons of info... More

We arranged a customized tour with Elisabetta to include a cheese making tour, castle tour and winery tour with lunch and tasting. Elisabetta is very well informed about her subjects and taught us a great deal. The lunch was a highlight. We were able to arrange for the vegetarian option for two in our group.

One does not know Italy without going on a Parma food tour. The region of Emilia Romagna is not the first tourist destination in Italy, which is unfortunate. Ironic, since this region is considered to serve the best food in Italy. Known for Parma ham, parmigiano cheese, balsamic vinegar of Modena and more. We took a food tour with Elisabetta... More

My family and I enjoyed these tours. The online booking was easy. The tours delivered with all that was promised. We would recommend Elisabetta Ivaldi for a tour of both these facilities; she was extremely knowledgeable and informative, offering information and answering all of our questions.

We enjoyed the amazingly delivered information and historic timeline provided my Melanie..she gave 43 guests a 1 1/2 hour insight to the amazing past, present, and future of Parma...calling it like it is, and showing the intentional little details one would have missed if on their own, Parma shined on her tour.

Elisabetta was fantastic! She was easy to book, knew a tremendous amount about the process for making both the cheese and ham, added interesting facts about the history of the region and classifications. She was genuine, engaging and interesting. We would highly recommend booking her as your tour guide!
