Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Piazza Roma is the first square one reaches in a walk from the railway station to the city centre. Approached from the side its size is quite unexpected. It is dominated by the Palazzo Ducale, Italy’s first Baroque palace and used as a military academy.

Piazza Roma is the vast square located in front of the Military Academy, former Palazzo Ducale, which acts as a backdrop. In the middle there is the statue of Ciro Menotti. Thanks to the facade of the building with its decoration it is a beautiful sight.

A few blocks off Via Emilia, this Piazza is fairly large with fountains, restaurants, shops & a gelateria nearby. On Friday & Saturday evenings there are often talented street performers providing entertainment.

Pretty square that is dominated by the Palazzo Ducale. There are a few cafes offering food and refreshments - a great place to sit and enjoy the view. At the time of our visit there were a number of super cars on display in the square - the display of cars was enhanced by the spectacular backdrop of the Palazzo Ducale.

Such a stunning place to visit, especially before it gets crowded in the summertime. So much history to absorb and beauty to appreciate. Spend some time here, it's worth every minute.

This is a large Piazza surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops on two sides, and dominated on another by the imposing Palazzo Ducale.
