What a lovely surprise! We happened upon the Oratory by accident— while looking for another sight. The frescos are very beautiful, and the gentleman who greeted us gave us a fascinating background of the art as well as St. Cecelia. Plus, there is no charge
We stumbled on this gem by accident. The frescoes are beautiful and the subject matter is violent and disturbing.The legacy is that this marvellous space is used to perpetuate the arts. Wonderful music concerts are hosted here and well worth attending.
A small chapel which contains a large and interesting fresco cycle of the life of Saint Cecilia. It was fairly empty when we visited and is well lit so you can view it really well. Some wonderful examples of 15th century Bologna art.
