Only takes an hour if you don't "hop off" and gives a great feel for the age and architecture of the city. It certainly assists to orient one. The highlight was the view back across the city from the Hospedale Rizzoli.

We were staying in Bologna for 3 nights and wanted to see as much of the city as we could albeit in 32 degree heat! We were especially keen to see San Luca but it is 3.5KM south of the city. The easiest way to...More

My girlfriend was tired so we decided to take this bus tour, what a mistake. We hardly understood a word and didnt have time to see anything as the driver went too fast. It was cold inside. Big mistake!

A really great way to see the whole city, worth doing at the start of your stay so you can then explore on foot with a better understanding. Easy to hop on/off despite what other review say!

We visited the tourist information centre & the girls at the door would not answer questions. Their job was to press a machine to give us a ticket to queue for information desk. We got there & asked if we could buy Tx on the...More

This 'hop on hop off' was the worst ever. It only stopped at one of the published stops, the ear phone commentary only worked for half the trip and it was very bad bumpy. AVOID.

Took this tour recently and found it to be very good value (Euros 42 for three of us) and full of interesting insights into the city and it's history. The commentary was very well synchronised with the speed of travel and it was all very...More

A good way to get a feel for the city but don't expect to get many good photos as narrow streets and porticos make photography difficult.

The Tour begins and ends at the bus stop in Piazza Maggiore, near the Tourist Information office but there are hop-on, hop-off stops around the city. I do not think there is a car park nearby but there are car parks outside... More
