I've watched the game Bologna - Chievo in this stadium. The match was great because it ended in a 4-1 victory for Bologna. The stadium is old but in a fantastic condition! The ultras of the club are great fans and make a lot of noice. Overall a great place to watch a game!

Cracking old ground with lots of character and atmosphere to match! Tickets can be bought outside the ground from the official ticket office on matchday. Very easy to find and no que. Just ask a security guard or police officer and they will point you in the right direction, it's literally just outside the ground. If using public transport, you... More

Enjoyed a football match (which Bologna expected but unfortunately lost) and were pleased at the ease of entering and exiting. We arrived 45 minutes before kick off to get some beer (although coffee is more common) and enjoy watching the ultra fans. There is only a small covered section but fortunately it did not rain for us. We sat in... More

Bought tickets the day before the match at the tourist office in town (note passport required for both purchase and on the day to enter the stadium). Was able to select section and exact seats from the seating plan which was helpful. Stadium opens around 90mins before kick off and its worth going in early to take in the beautiful... More

We watched an early season cup match. The crowd was around 12 000. The stadium holds over 30 000. We bought tickets from Bologna tourist office (not easy. They needed passports as we knew. They also seemed to need another number - which we didnt have . Eventually they decided that they didn't needs the number). The process was more... More

Visited the stadium to watch Bologna V Roma. I took the bus 21 from Bologna Centrale station to the stadium which took about 15 minutes. I purchased my ticket on the day from the stadium ticket and the cheapest available was for the distini at 60 euros. I could have paid to sit in the one covered area but decided... More

Football stadiums are often the heartbeat of any major city, the only place where the locals truly come for the release. Bologna has a stadium with iconic architecture and an atmosphere which meets the stereotype of Italian football passion. The locals wear their heart on their sleeve and every moment is heightened by the continuous drumming and singing of the... More

Excellent English-speaking ticket-seller who used my passport ID to apply a discount I wasn't expecting (second division football for 14 euros for an old man like myself). The idiosyncratic 1927 stadium looks its age and significant blocks of seats look unused. The explosives set off throughout the game at the home end were astonishingly loud even from the stand along... More
