Alexandro was great very entertaining tour of a cheese factory, balsamic vinegar factory, and brocetta factory. He was great and I learned a lot about each. Highly recommended.

Wow---this was probably the highlight of my trip. I'm such an Italian food aficionada and I was so impressed with the balsamic vinegar, parmigiano-reggiano, and prosciutti. Even the lunch at the agriturismo had three different types of pasta and a good selection of meat, in...More

This 10 hour experience was superb. We were picked up at our hotel at 7:00 am and we didn't get back until almost 5:00. Our guide Eleanora was wonderful--so knowledgable, enthusiastic, peppy, friendly and engaging. She shared so much information and answered all questions. The...More

I don’t think I could much more than each of the reviews already have, but here I go... Alessandro Martini hosts this day-long experience through Modena, Italy. He is the most charismatic host of any tour I’ve ever enjoyed, and I’m not just talking about...More

What a great day! Early start, late finish and action packed....from watching Parmesan DOP being made before your eyes, experiencing the process of producing balsamic vinegar DOP and understanding the love and care that goes into the best prosciutto (DOP) I couldn't have asked for...More

Real passion for food is what oozes out of this tour. You will meet owners that manufacture typical Italian food that are really proud of what they make and show that whilst they show you around in their factories. You get to taste the cheese,...More

This trip was without shadow of a doubt the highlight of our trip, and reading the reviews on here, that's not unusual. It's an early start and a full day but throughout the day we were captivated by Alessandro our guide whose infectious enthusiasm and...More

It would be unfair to the readers to talk about all the things I learned on this tour given how much there is to learn and how enjoyable that process is. Instead, I'll talk through the day and the experience with this great tour group....More

We went a couple of days after Christmas and had a little bit over 20 people on 3 vehicles but it never felt crowded. This was one of the highlight days of our time in Italy.

The cheese factory only accepted cash. The balsamic place accepted credit cards. Other than that, there was nothing to purchase.
