This park, between the resorts of Riccione and Pesaro, offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea, and is dotted with small villages offering gastronomic delights. The ambitious traveller will also find steep roads down to rocky beaches.

SanBartolo Park is characterized by the high cliff coast, rare in the Adriatic sea. The protected territory comprises rural landscape too, cultivated in places nearby the sea boundaries too. San Bartolo has two distinct environments: the cliff to the sea and the inland side. The cliff emerges from the sea water, with pebble beaches, spurs and valleys, sheer walls. The top... More

Al confine tra romagna e marche rappresenta un punto di rottura nella costa pianeggiante della zona, ottimi panorama, perfetta strada per cicloturismo (non troppo impegnativa). paesini e ristorantini piacevoli sulla strada. Is a place to visit, it represent a change of linecoast, with beautiful viewpoints, that is flat in this area from Ravenna until Ancona except Monte San Bartolo indeed.... More

We decided to drive the panoramic route as a half day activity. However the trees did conceal much of the panoramas. We were diverted from a coffee break at the half-way point at Fiorenzuola di Focaro because of the volume of tourists/cyclists. However the Casteldimezzo was an excellent viewing spot of the Adriatic and the Taverna del Pescatore a good... More

This drive gives several viewpoints over the sea as well as good inland vistas. It was very quiet, apart from a few cyclists working out and a few locals in the one village one passes through. Winding road but, hey, what's the hurry on a nice summer's morning!

Staying in Rimini we wanted to take a day out (having already been to San Marino). Pesaro sounded good and we noticed the SP44 route running through the park. Lovely drive - twists and turns but also great views in all directions from different vantage points. It took us maybe an hour at a very leisurely pace. There are cafe's... More

This natural park is a fantastic area between the town of Pesaro to Gabicce Mare. Hills that fall into the sea, incredible views from the top, paths for birdwatchers, wild animals and parfumed flowers and wild berries to pick up! It depends on the season, following different paths into the bush you can also reach some nice beaches about 200... More

An interesting windy road that takes in the coastal views. There needs to be more signs to indicate areas that you can walk to. A few lovely villages and castles to see ontroute

Beautiful area. 30 mins walk from town to beach. Crowded at weekends apparently / unsurprisingly. Good swimming.

Great view, but small narrow road that can be hard to navigate, wine and olive culture along the way. Some good restaurant.
