Meta Sudans at one time, until removed by Mussolini, was a fountain complex just west of the Coliseum. It is now just a grassy area with remnants of what I can only assume was the fountain base. .

It is the area between the Forum and Colloseum and is a cool area that you will walk through. It is worth stopping and checking it out and to stop and take pictures.

It is the area between the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. You will walk right through it when you are going from one site to the other.
