I am not the type to take a cruise or to have a tour guide, but after spending the day with Alfredo I can't imagine having an equal experience without his help. His knowledge of the area and all of its history is so impressive, and Alfredo is such an easy person to be around. He is passionate about the... More

My boyfriend and I have never had a tour before, and were slightly pessimistic, but Eden walks had come highly recommended by family, and after reading the reviews we decided to give them a go... We are so glad that we did! Our guide Alfredo was so passionate and knowledgeable about his city and surroundings. We used Eden Walks for... More

I am usually a very self contained traveler. All I need is a god guide book, a map and comfortable shoes. I don't normally take tours. I was very glad however that I did this time. We had the most amazing day exploring the Vatican and all its wonders. I learned things that guide books don't cover. I learned some... More

Fresh off a college latin course I was eager to see everything I could and reading inscriptions was fun on my own but the real highlight is having someone extremely knowledgeable guide you through some of the more obscure aspects. The difference between skimming a Rome Wiki and actually being there is all in the guide.

Eden walks really lives up to its name! First ever food tour and what an amazing experience. Alfredo my guide was friendly and relaxed and has a huge amount of knowledge on Rome's history, arts, culture and of course, the food(la cucina povera). We took in Trastevere, Campo di Fiori and the Jewish ghetto sampling cheese, meats, pizza and pasta... More

If you're in Rome, after you have visited the Coloseum and Vatican, you have to do a food tour. It was my first time in Rome and i wanted to sample some delcicious Roman cuisine so I decided to do a food tour with Eden walks in Trastevere. The sunset lit food tour was spectacular. Our guide took us to... More

I've been in Rome a few times but never had the authentic experience that i had when i chose to do a tour with Eden walks. I did the guided tour with a photoshoot and Eden walks provided a perfect service. My guide, Alfredo, showed me around the most important sites in Rome and showed me some breathtaking views. The... This year I went to Rome for the first time and was mesmerized by the beauty of the city but wanted a more in depth experience so we decided to hire a tour company called Eden Walks. We went to the Vatican City and saw St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums. The tour guide was not only insightful and... More

It was an amazing tour. Alfredo showed me around Campo dei Fiori, Pantheon, San Luigi dei Francesi, he talked very passionately and to the point, moreover he shared many fun facts and interesting anecdotes with me. Also, he advised me some great places to eat and drink. Strongly recommend!

My husband and I went on three different guided tours while visiting Rome for the first time...our walking tour with Alfredo was, by far, the best of all!
