The main entryway into the St. Peters compound. It is a wide pedestrian pathway down the middle with vehicular traffic route on either side of the boulevard. It allows some great photos of St. Peter’s Basilica/

The long pedestrian road leads straight to the Vatican. As you near, St Pters Basilicaa becomes more prominent. Lined with a few cafes and tourist shops, and many tourists. Its difficult to get that perfect picture.

A wonderful walkway (lined with obelisk like street lights) leading to an awesome square, the town planners got this one right. If you have time be sure to visit the beautiful church. Chiesa di Santa Maria in Traspontina (see review).

The Via della Conciliazione is the long walk to the Vatican city. It is a beautiful photo opportunity spot with a long stretch of a street with the view in front of you.
