Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The early- baroque church was completed in 1620, and in 1638 a travertine facade was added, as we see it today. It is located on Piazza Benedetto Cairoli, 117 just off the corner of Via Arenula and Via dei Falegnami. The church rises above street level and is accessible via stairs . At the top of the facade there is a decorative pediment with a coat of arms in its tympanum. Inside there are several valuable frescoes from the 17th century. From a tourist point of view, definitely worth visiting.

This rather large church's interior is dominated by yellow hues and beautiful art works.
The acoustics in the church was lovely.
Well worth a 5-10 minute visit.

Masses are held in a small adjacent chapel, but so far during my recent Rome experience - March through June 2018 - the main church has been closed with no explanation why and no evidence of restoration or construction work underway.

Does anyone know when this Church will reopen? My husband and I visited this church in November of 2011. My husband prayed to here at a photo surrounded by birth announcements. 6 weeks later I was pregnant. We brought our daughter to Rome this week and finally found the church, we couldn't remember where we were, and it is closed. We were told that there was a lot of damage from an Earthquake. The gentleman did not speak English and I speak Italian very poorly. Does anyone know anything??
