We went with couch surfing group after some drinks at the nearby terrace. We were told it was one of the most famous club in the town. Turned out the music sucks big time. It's not a clubbing music at all. Only some r&b and really slow music. Well, we still thank the cs organiser whom invited us on the... More

Drinks was 15 euro. No differences and awful. All people untill the 1 a.m. were old people. After a while it was okey as a concept of party. Musics were popular and nice. You can smoke inside the club at up stairs. It was the best thing that club

Certainly the positive thing about Gilda is its localisation. It is extremely central and certainly very interesting to go if you're located in Rome. But the Disco is OLD!!! I have been clubbing in major cities in Europe, went to their major discos and none of them had a decoration which is that old and unfashionable than in Gilda. It... More

Gilda is a very exclusive and, of course, expensive club. But you can be sure you'll still have a great time, since the music is very easy to dance to, the people are very friendly, and the drinks have a high alcohol content :P Also, I really like the lights there PS: Girls can dance on the giant speakers and... Make sure you pregame before showing up, since cover is usually 10-20euros which includes a drink but after that drinks are 15E and shots are 5E. Usually play good music, mostly top 40 remixes, and the layout is really nice to party. If you're looking for a good (not great) nightclub then check it out.

I have been to Gilda several times over the years - my first time was in 1999 - so it is an old club! Went back in 2009, 2013 and now in may 2014. Not much has changed though - only the interior and the staff. Covercharge is expensive. And no place to sit - unless you pay for a... More

We went there after a bar crawl called the colosseum party, which was alright. We entered the club, which featured chart music from the last 3 years. I live in London and frequent both the more expensive clubs, ie. embargo and raffles, and the more underground clubs such as Corsica studios and fabric. I could not recommend this club less.... Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
