Okay, my title may be a little misleading. At Mercato Trionfale one can find everything from pastries to precooked pasta, like lasagna, that can be heated up later, to fish of any kind, seafood, meat either from the butcher or ready to eat. One can...More

We went there one hour before closing time and about half of the stands were closed. Otherwise everything looked fresh and tasty at ok prices.

This fresh produce market is incredible! It’s also only a 5-10 minute (easy) walk from the Vatican Museum Gates. We were the only tourist there during our visit and both the locals and store owners were welcoming and super helpful. It’s ideal if you would...More

While not all vendors were open since we visited during Roman's typical August vacation period, the vendors who were present had excellent products. The meats and cheeses and fruits and vegetables were amazing. Its a quick walk from the Vatican Museum.

Oh my gosh. This market is amazing! We went here as part of a walking food tour. We're definitely going back. Fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, fresh breads. Everything you could possibly imagine. I bought 3 large plastic bottles of wine for 8 euro. It's...More
