Private tours of Rome taking the Eternal City at your pace, and focusing on what interests you. Proud to be licensed as a guide by the Province of Rome, I organize tailor-made private and small group tours of the city and environs. I've lived in Rome for 12 years, am a naturalized Roman, and love exploring the city's multiple layers; the only way to understand Rome. Understanding Rome is recommended by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Rough Guide to Rome, the Sydney Sun Herald, and Conde Nast Traveller's Rome App.

Agnes is extremely knowledgeable about all things Roman and was a delightful tour guide through the Palatine Hill, Forum and Colosseum areas of Rome. Her stories were engaging and her natural interest in architecture helped us “see” the buildings as they were in their glory...More

I had been following Agnes on Instagram for a while and saw that she offered tours of Monte Testaccio, the hill that was created from millions of fragments of olive oil amphorae. I'd always wanted to go, and it's hard to get access, so I...More

Agnes was amazing. Kids were very attentive and she made everything so special and interesting. Since Rome is not a city you can see everything in one week, if I ever go back I would reach out to Agnes again. She was puctual and was...More

Hi Tony, The $278 was the total cost of the tour for two, including entry tickets. We had two tours with Agnes, both were absolutely top-notched. Worth every penny! Have fun!
