This is one of the major churches of the Roman Catholic Order of Preachers (better known as the Dominicans) in the city. Make sure you don't miss, at the front of the church, one of the most curious monuments of Rome, the so-called Pulcino della...More

This is the only gothic church in Rom. There are a lot of art work which are excellent i.e. Lippi frescos. There is a magnificent Christ statue of Michalengelo too.

With the many thousands of people each day visiting the Pantheon it is surprising how few take the time to visit this gem just behind it. The church has historic interest as well as great art. The church sat as the seat of the Inquisition....More

I love this church. The ceiling is stunning. It is hard to describe its beauty. It has a starred design with ornate paintings.

Just below the pantheon; drop in on your way up the alleys. Less ornate than most Roman churches, interesting colours. Brilliant statue by Michelangelo - you can (sshh!) actually go up and touch; also several works by Lippi featuring his trade mark wife / mistress...More

With it bright cobalt blue ceilings, sumptuous interiors and grand altar, this is a wonderful church which must be one of the best of the many in the Eternal City.

We loved this church. Unlike the crowded Vatican, this church felt like a place of worship. The blue ceiling stands out and helps the viewer feel the vastness . The Michelangelo statue is worth a view. A great place for some quiet contemplation before venturing...More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
