We did two tours with Katie, the Ancient City and Underground Rome. Three adults and three older children (ages 20, 18 and 15). Across the board, this was everyone's favorite experience in Rome, which was already filled with excellent experiences. Katie was very knowledgable, friendly,...More

My family of 6 did 5 tours with Katie. Not only is Katie's range of knowledge vast (ancient Rome, the best dishes to order at which restaurant, wine, best chefs in Rome, current trends in Rome, music, Italian politics...), she's also fun to be with....More

I booked a tour of the Prati and Trionfale areas of Rome through Katie Parla's company, and though Katie herself was unavailable, we were able to book a tour with Maurizio, her associate. Before the day of the tour I contacted the company several times...More

We absolutely LOVED our food tour with Katie. She is completely engaging and knowledgeable -- not only about Roman cuisine itself, but also how it connects with the broader history of the city and region. She took us to some of her favorite spots and...More

We paid €250 for a 3 hour food tour. It was a private tour, with just our group. Other tours could vary. It wasn't with Katie, but a colleague, as she was out of the country.
